JSX is a powerful tool for building user interfaces that is easy to read and understand, and can improve the performance and maintainability of your code. In this blog post we will learn about creating elements using JSX, it's features, best practices and more.


JSX is a syntax that allows developers to embed elements like HTML in their JavaScript code. It was originally designed/made/developers for use with the React Library, but it can also be used with other frameworks. JSX makes it easier for developers to build user interfaces and create dynamic, interactive websites.

Why should I use JSX?

  • It makes code more readable and easier to understand, especially for developers who are more familiar with HTML
  • JSX is converted to JavaScript at runtime, which means it runs faster than if it were written in plain JavaScript

JSX is similar to HTML, but it must be enclosed within a single parent element and uses curly braces to insert JavaScript expressions. This allows developers to insert dynamic content into their HTML-like elements.

Syntax:

Now you have an idea what exactly is JSX, in this section we'll learn, how to use JSX with React components, nest elements and attributes in JSX, and use JavaScript expressions in JSX. We will also cover the basics of styling JSX elements.

So as you know the syntax. Let's use JSX with react components.

Above we have imported the MyComponent compnents and then used as an element in the JSX code.

You can also used attributes in JSX elements, just like HTML elements. To add an attribute to a JSX element, simply include it in the element's opening tag. Example:

You can also add JavaScript expressions within your JSX elements. To include a JavaScript expression in JSX, simply enclose it in curly braces. Example:
